Drives regulatory change and risk programmes across the CIB business

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business
  • Lead the Regulatory Process Governance vertical, delivering consistent and efficient 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) Managing Regulatory Change (MRC) processes across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).
  • Drive innovation and transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory change processes.
  • Provide thought leadership on regulatory and risk matters impacting CIB.
  • Propose and implement strategic solutions aligned with the Bank’s regulatory and risk agenda.
This leadership role carries end-to-end accountability for implementing and overseeing the 1LOD MRC framework. Responsibilities include the design and rollout of regulatory change management processes, governance standards, and associated risk and control frameworks. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination point for risk governance and regulatory change implementation across CIB business segments and functions.
Risk Management
  • Ensure robust risk oversight across all regulatory change processes.
  • Lead risk initiatives that embed a proactive risk management culture within the 1LOD.
  • Promote the use of innovative risk analytics, automation, and portfolio-level assessments.
  • Enhance risk reporting capabilities and support remediation efforts and training for non-financial risks.
Governance
  • Collaborate with governance leads across CIB to ensure effective risk committee reporting.
  • Provide regular risk insights and updates to senior management and the CIB Non-Financial Risk Committee.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of emerging risks, control deficiencies, and incidents.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services, specifically within Risk and Process Governance in Corporate & Investment Banking.
  • Strong background in process frameworks, regulatory change management, and policy implementation.
  • Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Agile mindset, with experience in Agile teams and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Deep knowledge of CIB products, business segments, and the regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the Group’s values and principles.
