Job Summary An internal audit team is seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Professional with a strong risk and control mindset to lead audits related to Technology Architecture and Infrastructure. This includes coverage of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem & Change Management, Asset Management, and Technology Operations. The role involves drafting audit opinions for risk committees and supporting leadership in identifying and addressing key risks.
Candidates should have at least 12 years of hands-on experience in managing technology operations and deep expertise in platforms, networks, databases, storage, cloud, and emerging technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present technical findings are essential. The role includes leading audit teams, mentoring team members, and using tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau.
Key Responsibilities Strategy - Build relationships with senior technology leaders to understand current and future strategy.
- Support risk assessments and audit planning activities.
- Help develop training plans for audit team skill development.
- Provide leadership, maintain independence per audit charter, and supervise teams effectively.
Audit Delivery - Lead high-risk audits across enterprise technologies.
- Execute and validate audit work efficiently.
- Review team outputs and ensure high-quality audit deliverables.
- Identify risks, write clear audit issues, and secure management action plans.
- Promote innovation and incorporate advanced tools like AI and data analytics.
- Track audit issue resolution and escalate unresolved risks.
Business Engagement - Maintain regular interaction with Technology units to stay updated on emerging tech.
- Monitor tech transformation programs and provide control insights.
- Lead or support planning, fieldwork, and reporting in line with internal audit standards.
- Deliver assignments within budget and promote efficiency.
Skills and Experience - Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, cloud).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
- Strong audit methodology and tool proficiency.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Collaborative and relationship-building abilities.
- Relevant certifications: CISA, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).
