Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Involve: - Serve as the main point of contact supporting the OTC business
- Monitor affirmation platforms across all OTC products (e.g. MarkitWire, ICELink), resolving exceptions to ensure top-day matching
- Oversee daily T+1 reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash activity across accounts
- Monitor positions approaching expiry and process related events (e.g. Swaptions, FX Options)
- Ensure all electronic trades are properly fed into platforms; manage exceptions with platform support providers
- Manage electronic trading platforms including new trader requests, allocation template setups, and risk limit requests
- Handle ad hoc requests from portfolio teams and individuals
- Work with counterparts and fund administrators to improve workflows and reduce exceptions/errors
- Identify and document root causes of recurring workflow issues and propose upstream solutions
- Build out new market and product capabilities
- Provide support to other product areas as needed
What the Successful Candidate Will Do in the First 3–6 Months: - Manage the full trade lifecycle: assist trading with bookings, queries, and daily reconciliations
- Learn the trade booking process in Orchestrade (electronic vs. voice trading, different platforms), gaining exposure to process checkpoints and issue resolution
- Progress to handling reconciliations and break resolution, gaining insight into the consequences of trade capture errors
- Facilitate ad hoc requests from portfolio teams, building cross-departmental exposure and rapport
- As familiarity with systems increases, identify and document persistent issues, offering improvement proposals at the root level
- Eventually participate in larger projects, though the above responsibilities will occupy the first 3–6 months

- Prior buy-side operations experience is advantageous but not required
