Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive support to the trading desk for trade execution across multiple asset classes.
- Monitor and manage trade orders to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Develop and maintain trading tools and models using VBA, Python, and SQL to improve efficiency.
- Reconcile trade discrepancies and work with operations and compliance to resolve issues.
- Prepare daily P&L reports, risk reports, and other trading documentation.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to analyze market trends, trade performance, and strategy outcomes.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk procedures.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–10 years of experience as a Trading Assistant or in a related function within financial services.
- Strong programming skills in VBA, Python, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, with exposure to equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other financial software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with algorithmic or automated trading systems.
- Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance in trading.
- Familiarity with market data platforms such as Bloomberg or Reuters.
