About the Role: A leading financial institution is expanding its FX trading business in Hong Kong and is seeking a highly motivated
Sales Hunter to drive new business development. This role focuses on acquiring institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and banks, to grow the firm’s FX offering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FX trading, liquidity solutions, and electronic trading platforms, with a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities: - New Business Development: Identify, engage, and onboard new institutional clients, driving revenue growth for FX products.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and trading firms, promoting FX liquidity and trading solutions.
- Market Coverage: Drive FX sales across Spot, Forwards, NDFs, and FX Futures, positioning the firm as a preferred trading venue.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share in FX trading in Hong Kong and North Asia.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with trading, product, and technology teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client demands to refine FX offerings.
- Revenue & KPI Targets: Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets, ensuring continuous business growth.
Key Requirements: - Experience: 5+ years in FX sales, trading, or business development, preferably in an exchange, brokerage, or liquidity provider.
- Client Network: Strong institutional client relationships in North Asia, particularly with hedge funds, asset managers, and banks.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of FX trading, liquidity pools, and electronic trading platforms.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to drive new business and close high-value deals.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with FX regulations in Hong Kong and APAC.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred.
