Key Responsibilities - Oversee reconciliations, trade confirmations, swap settlements, cash reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Optimize and automate operational processes, reducing reliance on manual data handling.
- Improve high-volume processing efficiency to eliminate current bottlenecks.
- Support the day-to-day operations team while also collaborating on technology-driven projects.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end processes, currently extending beyond expected timeframes.
- Act as a senior escalation point for operational issues, stepping in only for complex or high-impact problems.
Ideal Candidate Profile - Prior experience in a quantitative hedge fund, multi-strategy hedge fund, or HFT firm preferred.
- Strong background in process automation and data handling at scale.
- Deep understanding of trade support, settlements, reconciliations, and derivatives operations.
- While initially an individual contributor, this role offers room to grow into a leadership position as the team expands.
- Ability to analyze complex workflows, propose automation solutions, and enhance efficiency.
