A banking client of ours in midtown is looking a VP of Relationship Management for their Project Finance team.

Position: AVP/VP - Relationship Manager
 
Reports to: Senior Relationship Manager
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development and Client Management:
    • Support the Head of Project Finance Team and Senior RMs in client development.
    • Conduct research on prospective and existing clients.
    • Draft pitch books and support transaction analysis and evaluation.
  2. Due Diligence and Deal Execution:
    • Perform due diligence analysis for financing transactions.
    • Review and negotiate financing documents.
    • Build and revise financial models, conducting sensitivity tests and forecasting.
    • Prepare content for credit rating and credit line applications.
    • Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence.
  3. Post-Disbursement Management:
    • Conduct post-disbursement reviews and portfolio analysis.
    • Prepare KYC review reports.
    • Monitor portfolio for financial covenants and emerging issues.
    • Analyze and prepare proposals for waivers, amendments, and consents.
    • Provide monthly or quarterly reports to Portfolio Managers.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Act as a risk manager responsible for identifying and escalating risks.
    • Demonstrate risk awareness by following all policies and procedures.
    • Ensure strict accountability for risk management duties.
  5. Additional Responsibilities:
    • Support ad-hoc workstreams.
    • Manage GCMS (Global Compliance Management System).
    • Maintain organized client files and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or engineering.
  • Master's degree or Project Finance/legal training preferred.
  • 2-3 years (AVP) or 3-5 years (VP) of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or renewable/sustainable finance.
  • Credit training is a plus.
Skills:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong credit, financial analysis, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in credit reasoning and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to work as a team player and self-starter.
Compensation Range: $150,000 - $190,000
