Role: Account Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Comp: $120K - $140K Base | $200K - $250K+ OTE
Overview
Our client is a leading Alternative Data platform who are well established across Buy-Side and Sell-Side research teams globally.
They are looking to hire an Account Manager to lead relationship, retention, and expansion efforts across their Buy & Sell-Side vertical. This person will primarily engage institutional teams to position the firm's platform and wider data solutions.
If you're someone who is experienced in supporting investment workflows within a similar data firm that loves speaking to product, enjoys an analytical and strategic approach, and bring a keen eye for end-user pain-points, then this could be a great fit!
Key Responsibilities: - Effectively manage key relationships across the firm's institutional client base
- Build and generate strong value-driven strategies for all covered accounts inclusive of account mapping and planning
- Coordinate with leadership on industry insights, or trends you're uncovering in your day-to-day to inform rolling strategic adjustments
- Collaborate internally on large client projects and engagement efforts alongside product specialists
Desired Qualifications: - 3-5+ YoE in Account/Relationship Management within similar Data Vendors or Platforms
- Ideally fluent in Alternative Data solutions, or the wider Investment Data/Research industry
- Prior experience selling across Buy-Side and Sell-Side teams
- Analytical, targeted sales approach combined with a successful track record
- Enjoys small-team environments and working with smart, analytical personalities
