Job Summary: Corporate Banking Relationship Manager (Aviation & Shipping) Purpose:To achieve both quantitative and qualitative targets within the Corporate Banking team (Aviation + Shipping). The role involves managing and growing an existing client portfolio through business development and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily client relations in aviation, shipping, and land transportation industries.
- Drive business development through bilateral and syndicated deals and cross-sell products such as deposits, Trade, and TMU services.
- Engage in client meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate credit renewals and structuring solutions for new or incremental deals.
- Provide cross-border solutions under the ONE Bank approach.
- Oversee the entire deal life cycle from origination to legal documentation and disbursement.
- Structure ESG-related loans, asset-backed term sheets, and handle loan collateral packages.
- Perform financial projections and credit analysis for asset-based financing deals.
- Contribute to cross-selling banking products (Treasury, FX, DCM, etc.).
- Work with ARM on client servicing, compliance, KYC, and legal documentation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI): - Achieve set targets for gross profit, fee income, deposits, and loan clients.
- Successful closure of MLAB cases and provision of cross-border solutions.
- Ensure clients are serviced with at least two banking products.
- Manage client complaints and ensure compliance with internal audits and controls.
Non-Financial Performance Indicators: - Extra points for significant contributions, like bad debt recovery or outstanding performance.
- Deductions for non-compliance with audit, internal controls, or customer complaints.
Professional Requirements: - Strong skills in credit process management, financial analysis, legal negotiations, and post-loan monitoring.
- Minimum 5-6 years of banking experience.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or a related field. CFA is a plus.
