Equity-Linked Notes Operations Role Summary:A motivated and detail-oriented Associate is sought to join the Equity-Linked Notes (ELN) Operations team. The role involves supporting daily operational activities, managing high-volume transactions, and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. The Associate will work closely with senior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients and adherence to operational controls.
Key Responsibilities: - Daily Operations:
- Process and monitor equity-linked note transactions, including high-volume redemption events, while adhering to established procedures and service standards.
- Assist in preparing operational reports, such as monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, to track performance metrics.
- Support the identification and resolution of operational discrepancies and escalate exceptional cases to senior team members as needed.
- Risk Management:
- Contribute to identifying and implementing control measures to mitigate operational risks.
- Ensure processes are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
- Process Improvement and Automation:
- Assist in enhancing existing workflows through the use of VBA macros and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
- Provide feedback on system enhancements and participate in business acceptance testing (BAT) to support operational readiness for new features and applications.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve process efficiency and service quality.
- Client Focus:
- Contribute to maintaining high levels of client satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate execution of operational tasks.
Key Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial operations, corporate actions, or equity-linked notes processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with knowledge of VBA programming being an advantage.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as RPA is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills: - Basic understanding of equity-linked notes, derivatives, or similar financial products.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced operational setting.
