Role: Business Management - Hong Kong (Associate Director / Director)
The candidate will join the Business Management team and report to the Head of Business Management in Singapore. This team is responsible for managing counterparty relationships and driving initiatives to support the firm’s business needs. The role requires a highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Based in the Hong Kong office, the role will involve:
  • Implementing the firm’s business initiatives.
  • Addressing Front Office requirements and queries, including onboarding new Portfolio Managers and acting as a bridge between the Front Office and infrastructure teams.
  • Supporting infrastructure stakeholders (Operations, Legal & Compliance, Finance, etc.) by addressing their queries.
  • Managing counterparty relationships, including onboardings and KYC processes, while identifying business opportunities and resolving day-to-day issues or new requirements.
  • Generating and reporting data to the Front Office and Management.
  • Staying updated on market and regulatory developments, identifying opportunities or potential impacts for the firm.
Essential Experience, Requirements & Skills
  • Experience: 8–10 years in investment banking, capital markets, or the funds industry, with a strong understanding of financial products and asset classes.
  • Project Management: Effective project management and organizational skills; meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Excel Macros, Power BI, Power Automate, and Business Objects Reporting Tools is desirable.
