Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to join a growing Compliance team at an innovative financial services organization. In this role, you will support the execution of the company’s compliance program by focusing on transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, due diligence, and regulatory reporting. Your contributions will be essential in shaping the US compliance operations of the organization.
Responsibilities: - Perform customer due diligence during onboarding and periodic reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and identifying potential risks.
- Investigate and analyze alerts for potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions violations.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance testing, and regulatory examinations, including addressing and remediating any findings.
- Evaluate and resolve alerts related to politically exposed persons (PEPs) and adverse media during onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Prepare and draft suspicious activity reports (SARs) for internal review and final submission.
- Contribute to special projects and additional duties as assigned to support the compliance function.
Qualifications: - 2–5 years of experience in AML compliance, with a focus on transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and SAR reporting.
- Background in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Insurance industries in a compliance-oriented capacity.
- Proficiency with AML monitoring and screening tools and systems
- CAMS certification is a plus.
