Role: Front-End Developer
Location: Toronto, CA (Hybrid)
Comp: $175K - $225K CAD Base + Bonus 

Overview

Our client is a leading PE-backed FinTech who provide complex data, monitoring, and valuation products across the Alternative markets. Their platform is an industry-leading solution streamlining numerous processes for middle-office investment teams. 

They are looking to hire a Front-End Developer in Toronto who will lead efforts across infrastructure improvements, debugging, and critical fixes for their platform. This person will be client facing and is a crucial part of their structure to ensure overall process excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively and accurately perform all fixes and investigations on platform issues with strong documentation coverage.
• Lead efforts to drive overall infrastructure enhancements and proactively mitigate any potential errors/issues.
• Lead client discussions on how to improve their workflows, existing features, or areas for improvement and/or platform expansion 
• Lead efforts to meet (and reduce) response times, maintaining databases, and convey complex technical analysis across internal/external stakeholders. 

Desired Qualifications:

• 7-10+ YoE in Development across FinTech/Financial Services investor applications.
• Expert in Angular v8+ OR Java v11+, and MySQL, Elastic Search, and Kubernetes.
• Will need to be strong or fluent in French. 
• Analytical, diligent approach and comfortable in smaller start-up environments.
