Responsibilities: - Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing day-to-day oversight and support.
- Assist in sales activities, including pitches, proposals, and contract terms.
- Lead clients in developing compliance policies and procedures, including ethics manuals.
- Stay current with regulatory developments, particularly related to the SEC and other global regulators.
- Conduct mock examinations and audits, including documentation requests and onsite reviews.
- Provide training on compliance protocols, including personal trading and electronic communication surveillance.
- Anticipate regulatory risks and prioritize tasks effectively without compromising quality.
Qualifications: - Bachelor degree is required; a J.D. or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in compliance within hedge funds, private equity, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.
