We're seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our client's General Counsel Office in London. As a major financial services infrastructure provider at the forefront of market innovation, they offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while providing crucial legal and regulatory guidance to the EMEA businesses.

The Role
- Provide autonomous legal and regulatory advice across EMEA operations
- Manage complex legal matters and cross-functional projects
- Draft and negotiate contracts while balancing commercial, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with global legal teams to ensure consistency across regions
- Support relationship management with regulators and industry associations

Requirements
- 5-12 years PQE qualified lawyer entitled to practice in the UK
- Experience in financial services law and regulated environments
- Strong background in contract, corporate, and commercial law
- Interest in financial sector technological development
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
