Responsibilities: - Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all regulatory reporting BAU tasks and projects.
- Develop SOPs and document operational processes.
- Coordinate with Middle Office, Front Office, and IT to address and resolve regulatory reporting issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports for regulatory remediation items and monitor remediated trades.
- Escalate potential late or incorrect regulatory submissions to senior management for resolution.
- Participate in IT system enhancements, process improvement projects, and UAT for regulatory reporting system changes.
- Support regulatory audits and remediate any issues raised.
Role Prerequisites: - Degree-qualified with 3-5 years of operations experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on derivative transaction reporting.
- Understanding of OTC derivatives, FX, and IR linear/non-linear trades.
- Knowledge of MAS and HKMA trade and transaction reporting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, control awareness, and a focus on quality output.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously and handle pressure under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in MS products, with advanced Excel and intermediate VBA/Macros skills; Python is a plus.
- Interest in data analysis, process automation, and improving process efficiencies is a bonus.
