A banking client of ours in midtown is looking for an AVP OR VP - Relationship Manager for their Project Finance team.

Position: AVP or VP – Relationship Manager
Reports to: Senior Relationship Manager
Supervision: None
Overview:
This full-time role assists in building client relationships and promoting financial products within the Project Finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Development:
    • Conduct research on potential and existing clients and assist in creating presentation materials.
    • Support analysis and assessment of transactions.
  2. Business Development:
    • Contribute to various initiatives to enhance business growth.
  3. Deal Execution:
    • Assist in due diligence processes and negotiations for financing agreements.
    • Review reports from consultants and develop financial models, performing analyses and forecasts.
    • Prepare documentation for credit applications and ensure KYC compliance.
  4. Post-Disbursement Oversight:
    • Conduct reviews of disbursed loans and perform credit assessments.
    • Monitor portfolio performance and address any issues that arise.
    • Propose adjustments or waivers as necessary and maintain accurate documentation.
  5. Internal Responsibilities:
    • Engage in special projects as needed and uphold risk management practices in line with company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or engineering; advanced degrees or specialized training in Project Finance are advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of experience for AVP or 3-5 years for VP in project, infrastructure, or renewable finance; familiarity with credit analysis is a plus.
Skills:
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
Compensation Range: $145,000 - $185,000
