Since graduating with a degree in Politics in 2004, Miles has built a distinguished career in the financial services sector, specializing in Financial Markets operations, with a specific focus on client relationships. With over two decades of experience at leading global institutions, he has held senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, JP Morgan, and Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing large-scale teams, driving operational efficiency, and spearheading regulatory and technology initiatives, with 18 of those years spent in Singapore.
Most recently, as Managing Director, Global Head, FM Client Solutions at Standard Chartered Bank, he led a global team across 35 markets, focusing on client engagement, digitization, and strategic growth. His extensive expertise in financial markets solutions, operational risk, and business transformation has positioned him as a trusted leader in the industry.
Beyond his professional career, Miles is passionate about rugby and has been actively involved in the sport for years, serving as President of Bucks Rugby Club Singapore and as a Board Member of the Singapore Rugby Union. When he’s not on the field or following the latest developments in global finance, he enjoys spending time with his family, he has two 14 year old's who are very much teenagers now. In addition, Miles loves to travel and any spare time he will be found on the golf course.
